The problem is, I'm guessing something isn't setup quite right, as I can't get teamviewer to work/connect. I'm guessing I can do sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop, and then install teamviewer.

The challenge is that I need to setup the graphical interface (gnome maybe?) on this computer, before handing over the support to a different person, who is planning on using TeamViewer on it. This computer is in a different geographical location, so no physical access to it. When this was originally setup, there was no GUI installed, as everything was done from the command line via ssh.
